SHOPLIFTING PREVENTION SYSTEMS

Standard RF Systems

These panels detect specially protected merchandise that may leave the store without being checked out properly. It comes in several different styles and colors of standard RF systems.

This allows the system to match or blend into nearly any merchandising concept while still presenting a strong physical deterrant to shoplifting.

Standard RF systems can detect up to six feet between panels depending on the tag or label in use.

These systems are compatible with most RF tags and labels.

Single Panel Systems

The newest system is the single panel transceiver. The system functions in nearly the same way as the standard RF systems, but at a wider aisle width. This system can detect tags within six feet on either side of a single panel and if two panels are used, an opening as wide as 24 feet can be protected.

Another advantage of the single panel suystem is that electronics do not have to be synchronized, which minimizes installation time and after sales service.

Deactivators & Labels

Deactivators: To speed up the check-out process, some labels (disposable) can be turned off at the point-of-sale (POS) before the mechandise leaves the store. The deactivators, installed at the POS, are designed to deactivate all 8.2 MHz disposable labels.

The operator does not have to find or locate the disposable label on the item in order for it to be deactivated. An audible tone alerts the operator of labels that will not deactivate.

Labels: Labels can be either disposable or reusable (non-disposable). As discussed above, disposable labels are used with a deactivator at the POS.

Non-disposable labels can be reused such as in library or video application. A variety of labels in the following sizes:

2" x 2" (50 x 50 mm)

1.5" x 1.5" (40 x 40 mm)
1.25" x 1.5" (33 x 40 mm)

These labels are available in several different frequencies and different printing options are also available.
